Membership Requirements

• Have a genuine interest in the goals and purpose of the 100 Black Men of Rome-NWGA
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Be of good moral character
• Have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in his profession and service to the community
• Attend member interest meeting
• Submission of application
• Applicant must be recommended/sponsored by a member in “good standing”

Approval Process

• Personal interview with Membership Committee
• Successfully complete background check (limited to criminal history and sex related offenses)
• Committee recommendation
• Board approval and notification to prospective member

Member Requirements

• Pay annual membership dues of $95 for first year and then $300 thereafter
• Continually serve on at least one committee
• Attend at least 50% of monthly membership meetings
• Reasonable level of participation in community service activities and events sponsored by the organization
